Fallout and Fallout 2 were ported to the Mac, but aren't compatible with OS 10.6. However, there is a program called Crossover that, if you buy the Windows versions, you could install them on your Mac and buy Crossover, which would allow you to play them. Fallout 2 runs kind of sluggish though, but Fallout works like a charm from what I've read. In other words, that's an entirely different operating system than Mac. I don't know of any Mac version of that graphical interface; Spaces in Leopard does the same thing functionally but has a different graphical presentation (a simpler, cleaner, and better one IMHO - I'm not a fan of Beryl's silly cube desktop). If your Mac is using an earlier version of any Mac operating system, you should install the latest Apple software updates, which can include important security updates and updates for the apps that are installed by macOS, such as Safari, Books, Messages, Mail, Music, Calendar, and Photos.
In light of this sobering reality, Qubes takes an eminently practical approach: confine, control, and contain the damage. It allows you to keep valuable data separate from risky activities, preventing cross-contamination. This means you you can do everything on the same physical computer without having to worry about a single successful cyberattack taking down your entire digital life in one fell swoop. In fact, Qubes has distinct advantages over physical air gaps.
